MPGe is a measurement of how far a car can travel electrically, on the same amount of energy as is contained in 1 gallon of gasoline. Hydrogen prices fluctuate in a broader range than gasoline or electricity. MPGe fuel economy is rated at 61 mpg city/52 highway/57 combined using the electric battery and compressed hydrogen fuel.
