AKASOL to supply battery systems for Alstom’s hydrogen trains

The first battery systems (including heating and cooling equipment, cables and underfloor box) are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2020, and all 40 systems are expected to be delivered by 2021. The electrical energy generated by braking is stored in AKASOL’s systems and released to the electric engines when the train accelerates.

Volkswagen’s ID.3 debuts for the European market

With its fast charging capability, at a charging output of 100 kW it is possible to recharge the ID.3 3 will be delivered in Germany from mid-2020. However, should CO 2 emissions be unavoidable along the supply chain, these will be compensated by investments in climate protection projects. kW (AC) and 50 kW (DC).
