Back in those days, the EV Revolution was far less certain than it is now, and PHEV sales were ahead of BEVs, but on the 2013 Preview post, i was mentioning several important additions, like the Renault Zoe, BMW i3, VW e-Up and a certain Tesla Model S. markets i was already covering by then. Until Dieselgate hit.

New Zealand has a proposed target to reach 30% of the light vehicle fleet as electric by 2035 in the Government’s Emissions Reduction Plan Discussion Document. In every year up to and including 2019, the average emissions of new passenger cars entering the European fleet have been materially below the standard (of 130 gCO2/km).
