VW Showcases Golf Blue-e-motion at Berlin E-Mobility Event

At the ceremonial launching of Germany’s “National Electric Mobility Platform” (NEMP) in Berlin, Volkswagen presented the Golf blue-e-motion electric vehicle concept to German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel. The Golf blue-e-motion concept is powered by an 85 kW, 270 N·m (199 lb-ft) electric motor integrated in the engine compartment in front.
