AVTA is committed to having an all electric fleet by 2018. Connect Transit will receive funding to replace diesel buses used in fixed route service with zero-emission, 40-foot, battery electric buses. The new buses will be used on routes that connect residents to employment opportunities. Capital Area Transit System (CATS).
