AVTA is committed to having an all electric fleet by 2018. This project will begin to fulfill Mountain Rides' goal of moving from diesel powered buses to cleaner, cheaper, easier to maintain battery electric buses. The new buses will be used on routes that connect residents to employment opportunities. New Jersey Transit.
