AVTA is committed to having an all electric fleet by 2018. These vehicles will be the first electric transit buses deployed in Iowa. This project will begin to fulfill Mountain Rides' goal of moving from diesel powered buses to cleaner, cheaper, easier to maintain battery electric buses. Mountain Rides Transportation Authority.
