I’ve never seen climate controls in any other car that were placed on the steering wheel for easy control. The other is the hybrid battery (nickel-metal in the Gen2), responsible for the charge and supplying the cabin with electricity, including the climate control. Very practical. The cabin has lots of cubbyholes and is very spacious.

Being able to fit four full-size adults in the cabin makes it ideal for making it your camping or other outdoor adventure vehicle, or those quick runs to the DIY store. Flash Drive: 2015 GMC Canyon. The payload and towing numbers are more than adequate. Heck, you can even go off-road if opting for AWD. Road Test: 2019 Ford Ranger.
