The PureTech family of engines is fitted on the Peugeot 108, 208, 308, 2008, 3008 and 5008, the Citroën C1, C3, C3 Picasso, C4, C4 Cactus and C4 Picasso, the DS 3 and DS 4 and also the Dongfeng Peugeot 308S and 408. A diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating was used on the piston pins, rings and push rods to reduce friction.
