If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do If no one wants your car (because people think it sucks), then no one will buy it, regardless of how good the fuel economy may or may not be. We are addicted to the gasoline tax both at the State and Federal level.
