During July, GM sold 100,122 crossovers and SUVs, bringing the calendar-year-to-date total to 587,250 units—the best month for utility vehicle sales since August 2007. Including the Cadillac Escalade, SUV sales are up 32%. Compared with 2013, crossover deliveries increased 26% in July and they are up 5% year to date.

Combined sales of pickups, large vans and SUVs increased 18 percent year over year to more than 366,000 units, the highest for any second quarter since 2007. Year over year, sales of the Cadillac Escalade increased 1% in the second quarter and they were up 4% in the first half. It was the best first half ever for the Terrain.

Day to moment, GM stated it has completed its best industrial gross sales since 2007. GM stated its retail gross sales rose 15 % time over time, time gross sales via GM Envolve, a newly created unit that mixes fleet and its BrightDrop logo of electrical supply trucks, jumped 34 %.

NHTSA’s investigation stemmed from a vehicle owner’s petition in 2010, and covered about 6 million model year 1999-2003 GM Sierra, Silverado, Avalanche, Escalade, Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon vehicles. Address severe corrosion, marked by flaking or scaling of the metal brake pipes, by having the full assembly replaced.
