California Legislature Considering Bill Requiring Smog Testing for Motorcycles

A bill under consideration in the California state legislature would require California’s Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) to include Class III (280 cc or greater) model-year 2000 and newer motorcycles in the state’s smog check program beginning 1 January 2012. The standards include corporate averaging provisions.
