HDMI is great, but, not future proof, you need something that will still be a standard in 25 years. Low Ranked richii @ Apr 19th 2009 4:29PM for some reason this makes me think of the future. That being said, even a car that derives its energy from coal power plants would be far more clean. excluding coal power in china.

In one of those alternative realities Al Gore got elected President in 2000 and because he understood what was happening with CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions he made cutting emissions, and developing renewable and clean energy sources our country’s focus and goals. Too few people give a shit about that title. .

"The Volt continues to be one of our highest priorities among all GMs future product programs and remains on track for a November 2010 launch," spokesman David Darovitz told Automotive News. Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. So I think its a safe bet for GM.
