Lutz is a man given to hyperbole — called global warming "a crock of shit" — but in this case, hes right. Yes GM will lose $ on the Volt, just like the first Insights or Priuss, but unlike Toyota or Honda, they just cant afford to wait for it to catch on and become profitable. We are facing a big problem with global warming.
