Octillion Power Systems, a global provider of advanced lithium-ion batteries, is providing battery packs for all-electric motorcoaches and city transit buses offered by ABC Companies and Lightning eMotors. The order marks the company’s first time supplying batteries for motorcoaches and buses in North America.

Mercedes-Benz USA is introducing options for its 2025 eSprinter van that include an 81 kWh usable capacity battery, a standard roof height, and a 144-inch wheelbase. The eSprinter is equipped with a motor delivering a torque of up to 295 lb-ft, and is available with either 100 kW or 150 kW peak power.

From 2026, Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship with a specially developed power unit. This is the first time in more than a decade that a Formula 1 power train will be built in Germany.
