At the recent ARPA-E Energy Summit in Washington DC, Green Car Congress had a chance to talk with Dr. NanoeXa , a designer and manufacturer of advanced Lithium-ion battery materials for a range of applications, is using its Quantum Simulation Software (QSS)—based on a quantum-simulated database of materials including structures and properties, and a simulation engine—rapidly to identify and then to deliver improved lithium-ion battery materials.

Ethanol Producers Group Calls for Congress to Repeal International Indirect Land Use Provision in RFS2
Tom Buis, CEO of Growth Energy , responded to the publication of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) peer review study of the proposed international land use change (ILUC) provision in the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS2) rule ( earlier post ) by calling for Congress either to repeal the ILUC provision or to require a review by the National Academy of Sciences.

BMW looks into waste heat recovery
At the SAE 2009 World Congress, it presented an analysis of two basic configurations of the Rankine cycle applied to a thermodynamic heat recovery system in a four cylinder combustion engine. BIO Asks Congress Not To Subject Biofuels To Double Jeopardy
