Volvo Cars is the first European car maker to sign an agreement with Tesla, giving current and future electric Volvo car drivers access to Tesla’s vast Supercharger network across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. GM, Ford and Rivian have made similar deals.

Tesla recently announced that it has 10,000 Superchargers serving owners in Europe. Tesla has more than 35,000 Superchargers worldwide, offering a recharge of up to 200 miles for around 15 minutes. The Supercharger Network contributes significantly to Tesla’s goals. Tesla Model Y leads Europe’s D-SUV segment in 1H22.
