Scientist have confirmed that unlike gasoline cars, plug-ins will get cleaner as they get older -- because our power grid is getting cleaner. In some areas where wind and hydropower is wasted at night, the rate can be as low as 2-3 cents per kWh. But theyve needed definitive proof that PHEVs wont increase pollution.
