National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program Each of the 50 states, Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico was allocated funds to distribute to eligible businesses. While NEVI is distributed by the states to businesses, CFI is distributed by the US Department of Transportation to local and state governments.
