The basic equation governing the charging of batteries is W = V * A, or to put it into words, Watts equals Volts times Amps. Personally I think that we don’t need to charge the car even in 10 minutes. A vehicle with a 200 mile range like the Tesla Roadster would easily be able to do the trip with one recharge.
