As part of the agreement, Nissan and its partners will develop plans to promote a charging infrastructure for EVs, as well as the deployment, operation and maintenance of a charging network. The customer will only pay a monthly fee about $240 (US Dollars) which includes a full maintenance service agreement; carbon offset payments and in some countries even all electricity used, and insurance. The Renault-Nissan Alliance is building fleet charging stations in Portland and Phoenix.
