Under the terms of the agreement, the Level 2, J1772-compliant charging stations will be installed at 12 Best Buy stores in Tucson, Ariz.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Charging stations at these stores, within pilot markets of The EV Project, will be installed by March 2011. Underwriters Laboratories Named Exclusive Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory for The EV Project

The company signed a memorandum of understanding with Electric Transportation Engineering Corporation (eTec), a wholly owned subsidiary of ECOtality, Inc. Once UL-certified, Level Two plug-in systems will be installed in homes of the electric vehicles owners for overnight charging, as well as in many publicly accessible areas.
