The Rio Grande Electric Auto Association (RGEAA), was formed in 2020 tasked with a difficult job: convincing the majority Hispanic populations of El Paso, Texas, and Las Cruces, New Mexico, to drive electric. We’re located where Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico come together.

Participation in the 2021 National Drive Electric Week , hosted by the Electric Auto Association (EAA) along with the Sierra Club , Plugin America , and EVHybridNoire , reflected the growing nationwide interest in electric vehicles (EVs), as well as the emphasis placed on expanding diversity in the EV marketplace.
