This new company, Bright Automotive , is founded by ex-GM EV1 people, and the super efficient Rocky Mountain Institute to make plug-in hybrids in Indiana. Bright Automotive says it soon release an electric car with a 100 mile per gallon plus plug-in – and the company says it will keep the car economically priced. by: Michael Kanellos.

The program includes the installation of 10 alternative fuel refueling sites (two B20, one Electric Recharging, and seven CNG). The project includes 45 E85 and B20 stations, eight propane stations, and 132 electric vehicle recharging sites. Total DOE award: $15,000,000. Total DOE award: $12,975,388. Total DOE award: $11,041,500.
