Hybrids are set to go head-to-head on Japan's race tracks this year, as Honda has finally confirmed it's set to enter a CR-Z in the GT300 class of Japan's SuperGT series. Like the Prius, Honda's hybrid race car bears only.

Ogiso—who earlier in his career had been the chief engineer for the Prius, chief engineer for the Prius family, and chief engineer, product planning—made the remarks at the “2013 Toyota Hybrid World Tour” event the company staged in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
