Together the two cars sold 2,299 units. General Motors: The company sold 1,534 units in April which consisted of: 523 two-mode SUVS (Tahoe, Yukon Escalade); 95 two-mode pick-ups (Silverado, Sierra); 547 Malibu hybrids; 338 Saturn VUE hybrids; 31 Saturn Aura hybrids. Toyota Prius sales dropped 61.5 per cent to 933 units.

General Motors: A total of 1,454 hybrid models were delivered in the month, which is a rise of 26.5 The improved performance was led by the Prius which saw an increase in volume of 10.5 per cent; while the GS450h Hybrid sold just 27 units - a drop of 63 per cent. per cent with 12,998 units sold through the month.
