Alfa Romeo Tonale – the Italian brand finally has a rechargeable car in its ranks in the form of the Tonale PHEV compact SUV. General Motor eCrate conversion kits – by late 2021 GM plans to offer battery and motor kits for classic cars, allowing an easy EV conversion. Due in Australia early 2022.

Electric car supporters are rising to defend General Motors’ development of the Chevy Volt after the Obama Administration’s automotive task force proclaimed that the car was probably too expensive to be commercially successful in the near future. Supporters of the car say that’s shortsighted.
