It was the Chevrolet Sprint ER , and I've found a nicely intact example in a car graveyard just east of Sacramento. liter Suzuki three-cylinder engine, rated at 49 horsepower. Back in its Japanese homeland, this car was known as the Suzuki Cultus. The Sprint ER shouldn't be compared to modern hybrids or EVs, though.
