Total combined Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicle sales in the US have topped the one million mark, according to Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), USA. Toyota plans to introduce 10 new hybrid models between now and 2012 in various global markets, with sales of one million gas-electric hybrids per year, worldwide, sometime early in the next decade.

The EPA rates fuel economy for the 2022 Lexus ES 300h at 43 mpg city/44 highway/44 combined mpg. The average fuel economy was 46.3 When combined with the electric motor, there is a total system 215 horsepower. The ES 300h is not a sport sedan, and Lexus does not market it as a sport sedan.
