CARB settles with American Honda Motor for $6.9M for violations of air quality regulations on small off-road engines

These standards control the amount of raw fuel that is allowed to evaporate from these engines, which are typically used in lawn and garden equipment such as lawn mowers and pressure washers. Honda failed these tests demonstrating evaporative emissions of gasoline above the legal limit.
