LEAF sales hit 50K mark in US, almost 115K worldwide

So far in 2014, LEAF sales in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex have grown by about 50% over the previous year, with that growth set to accelerate faster thanks in part to the introduction of a new state tax rebate of up to $2,500 on the purchase or lease of a new Nissan LEAF.

Texas awarding up to $5.7M for alternative fuel and hybrid vehicles

The eligible reimbursement amounts range between 50% and 80% of the purchase costs depending on the model year of the vehicle and engine being replaced. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis with projects ranked according to the cost per ton of NO x reduced by the project. Application deadline is 29 August 2012.

Clean Energy wins $10M, multi-year transit deal with New Jersey Transit

The City of Long Beach recently announced the purchase of more than 100 additional light- and medium-duty CNG vehicles that will fuel at two Clean Energy stations in the city. Clean Energy customer MV Transportation was awarded a CNG bus contract with Los Angeles World Airports. The 14 CNG buses will fuel exclusively at Clean Energy stations.

US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

Team partners will purchase a total of 191 commercially available light- to heavy-duty alternative-fuel and advanced-technology vehicles. The project will deploy refueling stations and alternative fuel vehicles in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The project also includes construction of a B20 station. Total DOE award: $14,983,167.
