It was a dark desert highway, and there was cool wind in the hair. We used a constant power of 2-3 bar, did some wind-cheating and reached Jaipur in 2 hrs 45 minutes. There was a Mercedes parked right in front - and the owner had not put the car in neutral. Average wh/km was 110. Most of them remain unpaid.

His only indulgences are a Mercedes and a Lexus, and they have a practical purpose: He takes their engines apart to see how they work. His people at MidAmerican have studied clean technologies like batteries and wind power for years because of the threat of climate change. He certainly doesnt live a very lavish lifestyle.
