The Chevrolet Equinox EV is a highly anticipated addition to Chevy’s growing fleet of electric vehicles and will come in two distinct forms, the LT and RS—with several available trims, drive configurations, and range options. The entry-level front-wheel drive option will have 210 horsepower and provide around 250 miles of range.

That includes four-wheel steering and CrabWalk capabilities, plus GM’s SuperCruise and the same very high-power charging rates as the GMC Hummer EV. Mercedes has also, reportedly, scrapped its extended-range EV powertrains under development, at least partly because they were too expensive and seen as a technological patch.
