What the Corsair PHEV does, or should do, is open the brand to a new audience who will consider buying a Lincoln for the first time.

Power, but not enough efficiency to hit 30 mpg. The EPA fuel economy numbers of 21 mpg city/26 highway/23 combined are almost exactly what we got covering 301 miles driving through Southern California. We were hoping to get 30 mpg on the highway, but no matter how hard we tried the best we could do was 28.1

Volvo has flipped its usual script with the 2023 XC60 Recharge plug-in hybrid, but it hasn’t sacrificed any of the benefits of owning a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV), which is the perfect bridge between a gasoline and electric power. mpg while getting as much as 40 miles when driving in the all-electric mode. Running on unleaded premium, the EPA has rated the fuel economy at 19 mpg city/25 highway/21 combined. The dual level, horizontal LED tail lights wrap from the fender to the hands-free power lift gate, and sit above the lower fascia that features dual round exhaust ports and a continuation of the cross-hatch design. The EPA estimates the G80’s fuel economy to be 17 mpg city/26 highway/20 combined. If fuel economy is a pacing item, then getting 32 mpg with the smaller displacement probably is worth foregoing the performance benefits of the larger engine. The lower edges of the fascia find dual horizontal exhaust ports. Both run on 91 octane.
