Because EVs run on electricity, the vehicle emits no exhaust from a tailpipe and does not contain the typical liquid fuel components in ICEVs. EV MYTH ONE: Manufacturing EVs is just as bad for the environment as ICEVs. If it’s manufactured on a ‘dirty’ power grid it becomes a major source of emissions over the EV lifecycle.
