King Abdullah University of Science and Technology ( KAUST ), a new graduate-level research university located in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, has commissioned UK-based Elektromotive to install 150 Elektrobay charging stations across its campus by September 2009—one of the largest single EV infrastructure deals so far.

Brighton becomes electric car second city

Plans to install 20 Elektrobay roadside charging stations over the coming year are part of a concerted effort to encourage zero-emissions motoring in the city. Councillors in Brighton have already given the go ahead to install an initial 10 Elektrobays in Brighton by the end of 2009, with a further 10 planned for installation early next year.
