The electric powertrain and the high-performance battery with 400 volts are AMG-exclusive, in-house developments.

liter V8 biturbo engine is combined with a permanently excited synchronous electric motor, a high-performance battery developed in Affalterbach and the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system. When the combustion engine starts, the selected setting influences the sound of the exhaust system.
