Starting this week, Aurora Driver-powered trucks are hauling loads between Fort Worth and El Paso on behalf of Werner. Introducing an autonomous route between Fort Worth and El Paso allows Werner to move freight seamlessly and reliably on a subset of one of its most voluminous lanes.

But, perhaps the most unknown segment of Uber’s autonomous driving offerings is within Uber Freight, a system that allows suppliers to find truck drivers to transport their products. As outlined in the press release from Aurora Innovation, the company is expanding through a new 600-mile delivery route between Fort Worth and El Paso.
