Two systems integrated in the MQB strategy which play a key role here are the modular gasoline engine system (MOB) with the new EA211 engine series (40 kW / 54 hp to 110 kW / 148 hp). EA211 series gasoline engines. A BlueMotion Technology pack (Stop/Start system and battery regeneration) is tailored to the EA211 gasoline engines.
