The US standard is 120V@60hz the UK standard is 240V@50Hz. Same goes for video cables.

Standardization of battery shape and chemistry is another consideration that gives one pause. Also, until standardization of connectors becomes fully implemented, EV owners may have to carry an assortment of adapters to be able to plug in to chargers from different suppliers. One of the main drawbacks to charge stations is speed.
