Having enough electric charge to last a 5-15 minute in silence in a traffic jam. Power steering is electric and as a result we don’t need to check the power steering oil level as there isn’t any. During reversing, the Prius is powered only by the electric motor. It is actually a quite fun car to drive.

Until then, we can always program the ESS to make what Lotus refers to as "more futuristic sounds for electric vehicles [that] can be created using sampled sounds and generated waveforms." This is especially important for electric and hybrid vehicles which can be difficult to hear at lower speeds due to their drive mechanism.
