Under the Co-Optimization of Fuels and Engines (Co-Optima) initiative ( earlier post ), DOE’s Bioenergy Technologies Office and Vehicle Technologies Office are collaborating to maximize energy savings and on-road vehicle performance, while significantly reducing transportation-related petroleum consumption and harmful emissions.
