A Very Trail-Ready Plug-in Hybrid. Jeep global CEO Christian Meunier closed out 2021 by announcing his brand’s goal of becoming the “zero emission freedom brand,” with the Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid (PHEV) as its first example. If driving in Hybrid or Electric mode, acceleration is quick and quiet. It’s a whole new world.

Thus, Nissan will be offering serial plug in hybrids. It already has the Prius and five other hybrids selling in the U.S. Ford ( F ).

Thankfully, since parts of the powertrain in the Circuit are also used in other Chrysler ENVI vehicles - like the all-electric USPS minivan that was unveiled earlier today - work that is done on one model can be applied to others.
