The first performance hybrid from Mercedes-AMG—AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE—is entering series production for the European market, drawing upon technologies from Formula 1. As in Formula 1, the battery is specifically designed for fast power delivery and draw. Electric range is 12 kilometers (7 miles).
