Chrysler calls it a “multipurpose vehicle,” but we will stick with modern minivan. The only minivan with a plug. Plug-in charging can be done at your home (and can be scheduled for off-peak hours to save on electricity costs) or a public charging station. Expect about 14 hours with a regular, 120-volt household outlet.

That’s not surprising—the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, the company’s only previous plug-in hybrid, is a well-executed PHEV with an EPA-rated 32 miles of usable electric range that retains all the virtues of the Pacifica minivan.
