So LTO is good for petrol-battery hybrid cars, which end up having relatively small batteries. In order to connect the windings in the radial flux motor, you need some of the copper conductors to be placed outside the magnetic field. When you have windings on the inside, like you do in a hub motor, heat evacuation is difficult.
