Conversions are mostly for the Prius, with a few for the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner hybrid SUVs. At that point, we expect the aftermarket companies prices to have come down sufficiently so that their conversions will be attractive to owners of hundreds of thousands of hybrids already on the road. So far, most start as hybrids.

Thankfully, since parts of the powertrain in the Circuit are also used in other Chrysler ENVI vehicles - like the all-electric USPS minivan that was unveiled earlier today - work that is done on one model can be applied to others. Not to mention the parts you most definitely could sell from the running gear. No coasting available.

Postal Service (USPS) as part of the USPS Earth Day celebration. i would like to see maybe Smith America build a conversion of their current cars, maybe have a retrofit model so you dont have to get rid of the trucks at all, just upgrade! Apr 22, 2009 - Chrysler invented the minivan 25 years ago.

Third, I dont understand why people feel it available in message chatting to speak in a manner they would doubtless not use in personal conversation. But the batterypack is the most expensive part of the car -- it can cost thousands of dollars and equate to half the vehicle price. It does not reflect well upon you.
