When Clean Fleet Report first reviewed the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in 2017, it was the only electrified minivan on the market. But the landscape has changed since 2017 as the 2021 Toyota Sienna minivan is now a hybrid.

Several after-market companies have done PHEV conversions of the Ford Escape hybrid and one has done a retrofit of the F-150 pickup -- see Where PHEVs Are and ICE-Conversions.) It appears that few people, especially those in the mainstream media, understand the basic physics underlying fast charging, so I though it would be a good idea to review this and its implications for electric vehicle infrastructure. Let’s consider a simple example, say an EV conversion that has a 120V pack and a range of around 30 miles.

A couple of drawbacks to consider might be the capitalization costs of building these stations and the batteries that they would have to have in stock. Third, I dont understand why people feel it available in message chatting to speak in a manner they would doubtless not use in personal conversation. Battery swapping has its critics.
