USDOT awarding $55M to support purchase of Low-No buses; electric buses and infrastructure

Connecticut Department of Transportation. The Connecticut Department of Transportation will receive funding to purchase 40' Proterra E2 Max battery electric buses through a joint effort with CTtransit’s Hartford Division and Greater Bridgeport Transit. The buses will replace diesel buses that have exceeded useful life.
