In North America, you’ll be able to fast-charge with a CCS plug, which now allows you to connect to Tesla Superchargers even if you’re not driving a Tesla. Some models (typically from Japan or South Korea) might use a CHAeMo plug. For example, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) cannot connect to DC stations.

The Tucson, Santa Fe, Elantra and Sonata come as hybrid and/or plug-in hybrids, the Nexo is powered by electricity via a hydrogen fuel cell, and the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 are battery electric. Hyundai gets electricity. The lower handles the dual-zone climate control, while the upper has the 12.3-inch inch 3D digital instrument screen.
